SKREENS PARK Activity Centre is a 55 acre site at Roxwell near Chelmsford in Essex providing fun and adventure to young people in the outdoors.
Skreens Park is an historic parkland and includes a three acre lake for boating, rafts, and pond dipping. The site boasts 2 brick-built and a timber-built pack holiday centres, all with kitchens, dining rooms, washing and toilet facilities.
There are 25 allocated camping areas around the park, including a wet weather barn and two toilet/wash blocks (one with ladies and gents showers) fitted with facilities for the disabled. The site also includes an open-air chapel, a log-seated campfire circle, camp providore and a pay phone box on site.
